Award winning artist, Clive R. Tyler, from Taos, NM will teach Plein air landscapes in pastel. Tyler exhibits across the country and teaches a limited number of workshops a year.
"My workshops are about getting in touch with your creative side, getting rid of fear and being free to try new techniques and learning other approaches to painting landscape and learning more about pastel. I teach a Plein air workshop as I believe that you can learn the most from the real and changing world. Yes it is challenging with the uncontrollable elements, but my students have learned new insights and concepts to paint by and to take back to the studio. "
Clive will do several demonstrations over the course of the 3 days. Class size is limited to 13 participants, so register early. If you want to learn more about Plein air, Atmospheric conditions, Color, & Values, you will get something of great value from Tyler's classes. We will paint at a local Winery and in Lithia Park. $360 for the 3 day workshop

"Mosaics on the Run" with Julia Alpers
A mini workshop where participants design their own 8x8 mosaic, selecting from a rainbow of pre-cut color tiles. $85 + $10 supply fee. Two days. A simple approach with no tile cutting, will enable you to create a mosaic tile easily.

Photo Mixed Media Transfer Workshops with Cynthia Wolf
Create photo image and emulsion transfers on watercolor paper and other surfaces with your photographs. A fun, hands-on, informative workshop. Supplies included, just bring your photos or slides. On vacation? Bring your camera's memory card and we can print your photos to make transfers. Description of the transfer process can be found on my page on this website.
