Hand crafted pine needle baskets
I have been creating beauty with my hands for as long as I can remember.
When I was five years old, I began to knit. At seven, I learned beadwork.
Sewing and quilting followed, and with each new experience, I delighted in
the endless possibilities of complex forms and brilliant colors. In 1983, I
discovered basketry and fell in love with it. It didn't take long to find my
own style, using my own patterns and dying my own colors. I have been
creating my baskets ever since.
