Leigh Gusterson, Taos, NM
Leigh Gusterson lives and paints in a rural village in Northern New Mexico. Leigh's passion is painting in oils outdoors on location, sprinkling old adobes, horses, trucks, sheep and churches in the mountainous landscape she so loves. Color! Bold brushstrokes! Swaying moving forms! This is what makes Leigh;s paintings so fun to create, and live with.
Leigh has been exhibiting and selling work in Taos for over 20 years, with many one-woman shows. Gusterson is also a yearly particiapnt in the prestigious Mountain Oyster Club Show in Tucson, AZ. 2011 was Leigh's first year to exhibit at the "Small Works, Great Wonder" show at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in OKC.
