Jan Hutchinson
Artist Jan Hutchinson, from Oklahoma City, is the former president of the Oklahoma Pastel Society. Jan has won numerous awards for her work in the medium. She states, "I'm fascinated by the challenge of interpreting the wonder of God's creation through painting. I love the direct connection of hand to pastel to paper and the instant impact applying the color provides. It's both exhilarating and exasperating as I struggle to convey the emotion that I feel to the viewer."
